A surprise engagement plan you can actually follow
The best proposal plan is clear enough to follow and simple enough to survive a small delay. Before the date, we agree on one exact stopping point, the direction you will face, what each person will wear, when the photographer will arrive, and how you will signal a change.
Photographs, map pins, a short video, and a believable reason for visiting the location help remove uncertainty. For beaches, waterfalls, parks, rooftops, and public landmarks, we also discuss crowds, access, weather, and a nearby backup.
Real reaction, thoughtful composition
We stay out of view before the proposal and position ourselves so the expression, ring, environment, and approach can all become part of the story. Once the answer is yes, we come closer and give you a moment before offering simple portrait direction.

From proposal photographer to engagement story
Many couples continue into a short engagement session immediately after the surprise. Others book a full session later with another location, multiple outfits, or photography and video. Both options are available.
Proposal coverage can also include family waiting nearby, champagne, flowers, musicians, décor, a private dinner reveal, or a second destination. Custom planning is quoted around the actual logistics.

Can you photograph the engagement portraits immediately afterward?
