The session begins with how you want the photographs to feel. Some couples want a polished fashion influence; others want movement, laughter, and a location that carries a memory. Most want a mix of both.
We help narrow the location, wardrobe, time of day, and visual direction. During the session, the prompts stay clear and physical so you have something to do instead of wondering where to place every hand.
Cinematic photographs that still feel honest
Strong engagement photography can be composed without becoming stiff. Square Atom uses environmental framing, natural light, off-camera flash when it serves the scene, and gentle direction to give the gallery range.

What should we wear for engagement photographs?

How long is an engagement session?
Session length depends on the collection, location changes, and concept. A focused session can cover one location, while a longer editorial or destination session may include multiple looks and settings.
We feel awkward in photographs. Will you direct us?
Yes. Direction is clear and collaborative, using movement and simple prompts alongside composed portraits. You do not need prior modeling experience.
Can our engagement session include video?
Yes. Video can be added for a cinematic session film, social clips, interviews, or footage that connects to the wedding story.
Do you travel for engagement sessions?
Yes. Square Atom is Atlanta based and travels throughout the Southeast, Midwest, Florida, California, New York, national parks, and international destinations by date.
